SoCS — WordPress – ure

Well, there is still just a little bit of time left on this fine Saturday to write just a little “SoCS” for the first time since before the April A to Z challenge. I really want to get back to my “normal” favorite things like Linda’s SoCS, and reading all my favorite blogs and writing some stuff. In English and in French.

I love writing, I love WordPress, but it has been hard to get back into the routine of it all after the last few months. Je suis un peu fatiguée.  It’s just time to get back to it all,  to make sure my blog stays happy 🙂  I love my corner of WordPress. It’s kinda cozy, I think.

Even though I haven’t been posting a lot since the end of April, I have some ideas about stuff I want to do and to write about. I am surrounded by inspiration, both people and things. I have all kinds of things that I love to do, and I need  to write about them!

I have to tell you all, I think I won a contest last week! Ok, it wasn’t a real contest, but because of WordPress, and the connections I made through blogging,  I had the amazing opportunity to skype chat with the author of two books that I really really like!  So I felt like I won one of those contests where you get to “chat with an author.”  It was super cool 🙂

I discovered her blog, I think during A to Z last year? I got to do a Q & A with her last summer, shortly after her first book came out. In any case, she is amazing, and so are her books, especially her characters. Celine JeanJean  recently released her second book and you can get it on Amazon.   Just read it. No “press”ure 🙂

Anyway, I am happy to be SoCS-ing again, so thanks for the prompt, dear Linda, it’s a great way to try to get back to “normal” blogging!

This post is part of Linda G Hill’s “Stream of Consciousness Saturday”  — Click and read, click and join in! Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “Press.” Find a word that starts with press-, ends with -press, or use “press” as a word all by itself. Have fun!
