Thanks for the prompt, Linda! I feel that the prompt to use the letters “mem” is a clear reminder to think of our veterans and to thank them for making it possible for us to enjoy the freedoms that we do. Yesterday was “veterans day” in the US. Nov. 11 originally being celebrated as Armistice day after WWI, it now commemorates veterans of all wars. Canada and the UK also remember this day with a holiday. I love this song by the British boys choir Libera:
I just want to take this opportunity to say Thank You to all our veterans for having given up some of their freedoms to preserve mine.
