Bonsoir mes chers lecteurs! I know I haven’t posted for a while; there are many reasons. (One of which is that I have been fervently working on my A to Z posts! I’m excited about this year!) I feel most horrible for “dropping the ball” on Tuesday with the “Tuesday Use it in a Sentence” prompt! MLW chose a fantastic word, “sanction.” It’s one of those words that has two meanings which are pretty much opposite of each other. We had a cool list of these in French class not too long ago. The one I remember best from it is “apprendre” which can mean “to learn” and also “to teach.” We don’t do this in English, unless you aren’t very…”learned?” I can teach you something, but it is rather strange sounding to “learn you” something.
Anyway, floating on down the stream…I have been out of town this week, and now that I’m back, I find that I have emails to answer, taxes to get filed, phone calls to make, lots of blogs to get caught up on reading, and my house to “Spring Clean” if there is time for that. In other words, the ball is definitely in my court. Before the clock “springs forward” on me, I guess I have at least managed to get back here, brush some dust off of the “tableau de bord” and say “bonsoir” to WP for the SoCS 🙂 I am happy to have just a little time to swat at one of those balls that are in my court. I hope to post a few more things this week, but if nothing else I will be here for the “A-to-Z Challenge Theme Reveal” on March 21! I may have been a bit “absent” this month, but I will more than make up for it in April!
Bonne nuit, tout le monde!
This post is part of Linda G Hill’s “Stream of Consciousness Saturday” — Click and read, click and join in! Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is: “ball.” Play with it! Have fun!
There are moments keeping up on blogging is like running after the ball that rolled down the hill 🙂

New novel? Awesome! I really liked your “Trapped In Paris” story 🙂 Is it possible to read this in French too ? It would be great for learners like me!
