La vie est belle !

Vive la Tour Eiffel !

Eiffel Tower CornerWell, when I saw the “Google Doodle” today, as a self-proclaimed Francophile, I could not ignore this! And as I blog about French things so often on “Forty, C’est Fantastique” I just can’t let the 126th Anniversary of the Opening of the Eiffel Tower go un-noticed here!  So you will find the “official” Google search if you click on the link above, and do be sure to click on the “doodle” itself, because the artwork of Floriane Marchix is pretty remarkable.

Aujourd’hui, je vous montre une photo de la Tour Eiffel que j’ai prise septembre dernier quand j’étais à Paris !

(Today I am showing you a photo of the Eiffel Tower that I took last September when I was in Paris!)

J’aime beaucoup cette photo. On n’a besoin que seulement cette minuscule partie du monument et c’est évident où je l’avais pris, n’est-ce pas ?

(I love this photo.  With no more than this, it is clear where I took it, isn’t it?)

Et vous, chers lecteurs? Êtes-vous déjà allé à la Tour Eiffel? Combien de photos avez-vous pris ?

(And you, dear readers? Have you ever been to the Eiffel Tower? How many photos did you take?)

p.s. don’t forget, the “April A to Z Challenge” starts tomorrow. I’ll be playing along here at “Forty, C’est Fantastique” and I encourage you to take the challenge with me of visiting the other 1000+ participants of this great challenge over the next month!
