First of all, YAY BRONCOS!
Now just a little tiny post about today’s Zero to Hero challenge: they asked me to link up to other social media. Yes, I do have a couple other “social media” accounts. I mentioned that I’m a bit of a Pinterest freak, for example. But it’s fairly anonymous at Pinterest, and mostly I go there for recipes and travel ideas. (Although I’m guilty of liking those pictures with “cool” quotations on them…particularly the French ones.) I don’t mind posting a pin or pinning a post. But Facebook…no. I do have a FB account but it’s just because I have about 4 friends who keep in touch primarily in this fashion. I hardly ever post anything.
Interesting side note: if I ever *do* post anything, like changing my profile pic or some such, “everyone” seems to notice and comment, which convinces me that silence is indeed golden. If you have few words, people seem to listen more closely to them…yikes! So I went and started a blog?!?
Anyway, I am still just a tiny bit paranoid about entities like G+ or Twitter (which I don’t participate in.) I don’t like the idea of all these things being “linked” especially G+. I somehow ended up with a G+ “identity” attached to my YouTube account, don’t know how that happened, exactly. Ironically, I used the Google search engine to figure out how to “deconnect” that identity from YouTube and then how to erase it. Maybe I just don’t understand. As the title says I really don’t get the “hashtag” thing. It’s just some sort of query, right? I have no interest in “Tweeting” anything. I don’t need to. I have a blog ! In any case, in the spirit of Zero to Hero, I will tell you that I at least looked at how to do the “linking” thing 🙂
Demain, je vais vous écrire un petit peu en français, je crois ! (yikes. BTW…I haven’t yet found a good translation for “yikes” in French. Anyone know one?)
à demain, mes lecteurs ! See y’all tomorrow! <– that’s Texan for “à demain” 🙂
