I really don’t think it’s possible. Having too many shoes, that is. In fact, I really do need to replace my favorite black pleather boots. They’re the ones I wore to walk all over Ireland two years ago when we went there to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. They are the first pair of shoes that I’ve ever owned which have been in Europe. Cool, huh? We walked miles and miles in Ireland, particularly in Dublin. These inexpensive faux-leather boots that I got from a random website have treated me well and looked stylish too! I’m a little sad that the heel is wearing down and I’ll have to give them up.
The zero to hero challenge invited me into the WordPress closet today so my blog could try on some “new shoes” with the customizer. It was kind of fun to mess around with different colors, layouts, etc. I even entertained the idea of a different theme. But really, since I just started this blog, I still like the way it looks, and I feel that I need to learn to make the best of the free themes and features before I go all crazy and spend any money. The good thing is that I learned what my options could be for the future. There’s nothing wrong with a little “window shopping” ! So yes, I did the “Day 15” challenge, it’s just not obvious. I also added a few things to my “blogroll” thus completing day 13’s challenge. I expect I’ll have quite a few others to put there soon. Seriously. Have a look. I may be adding to /changing them frequently! They have categories, but all could fall under “Things I found on the internet that are super Fun!”
For day 14, “bloggers choice”, I spent part of my evening scanning the various writing prompts which have been highlighted, got caught up in reading other people’s creative work, followed a few of them, even made a couple comments. I have saved a couple of these prompts/ events for future writing attempts of my own. So expect one or two feeble attempts at those in the coming weeks!
So in conclusion, I think that I found the shoes I want for my blog. Of course that’s subject to change. After all, a girl really can’t have too many shoes !
